Our skin cells have built-in protective mechanisms that use DNA repair enzymes, which are molecules that prompt chemical changes, to repair UV damage. Scientists have now encapsulated such enzymes in certain fat cells so that they can be topically applied, allowing them to penetrate the skin and supplement its natural protective abilities. Topically applied, DNA repair enzymes can assist in reversing and exercising the damage of DNA as well as protecting against future damage.

This unique mixture of enzymes and amino acids is designed to enhance and support the body’s natural DNA repair process for visible improvements in skin’s health and wellness.
Three enzymes work synergistically to repair DNA and supplement the body’s natural repair process. These ingredients, Photosomes®, Roxisomes®, and Ultrasomes®, are each delivered in their own liposomal delivery system for enhanced penetration and effective repair.
Photosomes® (plankton extract) are able to harness UV rays and utilise them to activate the body’s natural repair process and break dimer chains. Roxisomes® (Arabidopsis thaliana extract) are a plant extract that contain the same enzyme that the body produces to excise DNA damaged by oxidation. Ultrasomes® (Micrococcus lysate) provide the T4N5 enzyme, which the body naturally uses to extract DNA mutations.
The Photosomes®, Roxisomes®, and Ultrasomes® are complemented by an ingredient complex that pairs amino acids (acetyle tyrosine and proline) with cell energisers to enhance the repair process. The amino acids are the precursors to the body’s natural repair process, so they work to supplement the body’s natural resources. The cell energisers speed the repair reactions for an overall enhanced effect.
