Retinsphere^® Technology, New-generation Retinoid Combination

Innovative technology that combines two high tolerance retinoids that stimulate epidermal renewal. It smooths skin and reduces blemishes and imperfections.

Retinsphere^® Technology is the association of two stable, effective retinoids with excellent tolerability: hydroxpinacolone retinoate and stabilised and encapsulated retinol. This technology has similar efficacy to that of retinoic acid, but without its adverse effects.

Composition

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate
Retinoic acid derivative that gives the same renewing benefits of skin, but without its potential for irritation.

Stabilised and encapsulated retinol
This gradual release system facilitates the penetration of retinol into the deeper layers of the skin where it acts in a sustained way over time.

Mechanism of Action

Retinol is transformed into retinoic acid in the higher layers of the epidermis and acts on its cells, enhancing the process of natural skin renewal:

It promotes the growth and differentiation of cells to combat wrinkles, pigmentation and fine lines.
It inhibits the synthesis of tyrosinase, an enzyme responsible for the production of melanin, to reduce dark spots.
It normalizes the formation of the follicular epithelium so that it does not become clogged and lead to acne.

BIOPEP-15mis a plant-based peptide technology that contrasts proliferation of Cutibacterium acnes, the main bacteria involved in the development of acne.

BIOPEP-15 is a sophisticated botanical polypeptide complex with anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties clinically proven to fight against P.acnes bacteria. It is this bacteria which is responsible for the inflammation and infection associated with acne. BIOPEP-15 is proven effective against 24 strains of P.acnes bacteria, including those resistant to other topical and oral antibiotics without any concern of bacterial resistance.
