Kojic Acid
Inhibits the production of melanin and is therefore a proven, effective treatment for melasma.
Alpha-Arbutin
Inhibits cells’ production of melanin by blocking the action of tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant.
Licorice
A proven depigmenting agent, due to its flavonoid-rich composition. Licorice inhibits the action of two tyrosinases, which catalyse the production of melanin. It also has soothing properties.
Morus Alba
A species of fruit tree, morus alba limits the production of melanin by inhibiting the action of tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant.
Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid
Speeds up exfoliation and destroys lipids that bind the outer cells of the epidermis, to help promote cell renewal.
